Y’all, I have officially hit rock bottom and fallen off the healthy band wagon. I have to admit to enjoying three Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonades in less than a week. Not one, or even two, but THREE! If you haven’t had them, DON’T DO IT. Those little buggers are addicting! They’re just so stinking good and refreshing. So I had to take action because those little concoctions were becoming my summer quencher of choice and it’s not even June! I created my substitute- and it is oh so good and just as thirst quenching.
No Guilt Frozen Lemonade
2 scoops vanilla protein powder, I used Usana French Vanilla Nutrimeal, but any kind will do!
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 lemon, peeled and deseeded
1. Mix protein powder and water. Freeze overnight in an ice cube tray or small tupperware.
NOTE: If you don’t have time to freeze the mixture, just add 1 c. ice cubes to the blender with the protein powder and water.
2. Place mixture in blender with lemon and blend until smooth.
3. Serve and enjoy!
