Since Lucy is going to be a month already this Friday (gasp!) I figured I better get her newborn photos on the blog! My talented friend Megan of Megan Curtis Photography knew exactly the type of photos I wanted- unposed, light and airy, more lifestyle and less Anne Geddes. I absolutely love the results!
I had fun styling the shoot, aiming for (you guessed it) an Anthropologie inspired look. Lucy was originally in an adorable tutu bodysuit (like this one) but after some pictures in her nursery, baby girl decided to spit up all over it! So down to the diaper we went and instead just swaddled her in a Little Unicorn swaddle because they are so cute! And it ended up putting her right to sleep. The dress I wore is the Varina Maxi Dress from Anthropologie- a major plus about it is that I can nurse in it!
