Family friendly places we stayed in the Las Vegas area

- Marriott Vacation Club Grand Chateau – about 1 block off strip
The Grand Chateau was a great place to stay if you want to be close to the strip for certain activities. We were right across the street from Arte Museum which is also a short walk to the Bellagio Fountains & Conservatory. There are a range of room options, including guest rooms and 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom villas with full kitchens. The Grand Chateau has multiple restaurants on site – a pool bar/restaurant at their rooftop bar, a marketplace/coffee bar, and La Diva, a full service restaurant in the lobby area. We had a great meal at La Diva after our art museum and Bellagio escapade. To be honest, we were worn out from navigating the strip and the thought of getting on a waiting list at a restaurant out and about seemed a little daunting. We walked back in to the hotel and there were plenty of tables right at the 6pm dinner rush time. It was a super relaxed atmosphere and the food was good – everything we had hoped for! The Grand Chateau also has a game room with plenty of kids activities and other events throughout the day on property. - Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa in Henderson – about 30 minutes from strip
The Westin was a Moroccan-inspired resort with a stunning view of the Lake Las Vegas reservoir from their posh patio. It was quiet, relaxing, and all about rejuvenation which seems like the exact opposite of what usually comes to mind when thinking of a Vegas trip! It’s located out near the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which has so many fun outdoor activities.
The Westin Lake Las Vegas in Henderson offers a serene, family-friendly retreat with spacious rooms and a wide range of activities for all ages. Kids can enjoy the resort’s private beach, swimming pools, and water sports, while parents can relax at the full-service spa or explore the scenic walking trails. With nearby attractions like hiking, biking, and family-friendly dining options, this lakeside oasis is an ideal spot for families seeking both adventure and relaxation. Rick’s Cafe was one of the restaurants on site that we ate at, and it was a great meal in a relaxing environment. Highly recommend!
