The whole reason for our trip was because…. my brother got married!! The boy who, for years and years, swore he would never, ever get married (so it was a pretty big deal)!
His wife is from Augusta, Georgia, and we were welcomed with the most wonderful Southern hospitality (and lots of sweet tea) by her family.
The venue was an old mill, and it was so neat looking! Just a beautiful wedding, all around.
Also while we were in Augusta, we got a chance to see a plantation- I have always wanted to see one!
