Things that I’ve been up to lately:
1. Focusing on adding more fitness into my routine by using Apple Fitness+ workouts at home. Cycling and rowing videos are my jam! I used to make fun of padded bike shorts but Chase got me some for Christmas and they are a game changer for making cycling a bit more comfortable on the longer workouts!
2. Planning out vacations for the year and it’s been so fun! I’ve enjoyed watching too many YouTube’s of people sharing their own travels. Some destinations on our list this year include Park City, South Padre Island, Alaska and some regional camping trips closer to home.
3. Researching a good travel crossbody- along with trip planning comes trip packing! As I transition from diaper bag life (yup, that’s right- we are out of diapers FOR GOOD!) I have been feeling so liberated with just grabbing my crossbody bags for everyday running errands and such. But I’m nervous my leather and suede crossbody bags are not going to cut it for traveling to the beach and into the elements of Alaska. Think Royln is a brand of bags that is on the top of my list for a travel/camera bag.
4. Organizing my days onto a weekly planner spread by Rifle Paper– it’s been really helpful to see the whole weekly plan when I open my planner! I know this sounds silly but I tried using a daily planner last year and it did not work so great for me. It was bulky and I kept having to look back over my work task list on days past to move them around. Now, I can see my weekly meal plan, house tasks and work items all in one view (see how I set up my week in photo below). And, it’s a smaller size that makes it easy to throw in my purse on a daily basis so I’m actually using it all day. Game changer!
