Finding sustainable clothing has become quite easy nowadays. Every where you look, there’s a new brand touting their responsible and fair trade sourcing or sustainably made items – which is great, don’t get me wrong! But finding home items that are such is a little more difficult. That’s why I was so excited to find California Cotton Home! Our master bed was needing a little refresh, and their cotton duvet and shams are just perfect to make a cohesive look for the overall style I was aiming for. In my case, I wanted to keep my duvet simple to create a good base for my floral quilt. I’m a big fan of neutrals with small doses of print here and there, which is probably why I love California Cotton’s overall aesthetic so much. I love a mainly white duvet because not only do they look so clean and fresh but they are actually really easy to keep looking that way! Lucy loves lounging on our bed and napping there so I want bedding that’s easy to wash- and this set definitely is.
