Last week us girls’ at Trois Chic talked about our favorite things we saw at the Boise Parade of Homes. There were so many great homes and I feel like I owe a post here, too, to show all of the fun things I was inspired by! Here are a few:
1. Abstract Art
I love the artwork shown below from Echelon Furniture. The mix of blues, greens, and golds is so chic! And the thin gold frame makes the artwork so much more luxurious than just a hanging canvas.
2. Geometric Lamp
This metal lamp is so fun and unexpected! I love the copper color, too. It is also from Echelon Furniture in Boise, my all time favorite furniture store.
3. Mix of Textures in a Powder Bathroom
Honestly, I’m not usually a fan of the capiz shell lights usually- but here it works. Paired with the dark accents, it looks so luxurious!
4. Nautical Yet Modern
The mix of the basketweave placemats with navy and yellow printed dishes feels modern but the table isn’t all themed- the rustic looking centerpiece grounds the coastal feel.
This nautical living room isn’t very themed, which I love. The nautical accents are limited to the glass floats on the coffee table and the shark in the bookcase but are just enough to make the room feel coastal. Not everything needs to “match” in a room to make it themed!
5. Travel Inspired Bedroom
What a fun take on a travel theme! The airplanes and the wall map are so fun for a teen’s room. The trunk is a fun bed side table, as well, and I love the pop of color in the geometric printed pillows.
6. A Room Fit for Princesses
How sweet is this little girls’ room? The gold accents with the pink is so adorable. And the branch wall hanging below is such a great DIY idea.
What was your favorite room?
