So if I have done my job correctly, you all will be surprised that I don’t really know all that much about high tech cameras. I know how to get the subject in focus, create a pleasing composition, and can fumble my way through the settings but I am not extremely knowledgeable on why certain photos turn out great and why others not so much. So when I saw the owners of Ampersand Studios (they also are the lovely ladies who run Paperie + Pen, a super cute paper store) were putting on a photography workshop on understanding DSLR cameras better, I had to sign up!
The workshop was held at The Owyhee and it was such a fun day! We tried out everything we learned at different stations which really made the information sink in. I definitely feel so much more comfortable with my camera and learned a lot of great tricks. Here are some snippets of the day!
