For the past four years, Chase and I have attempted to watch the hot air balloons during the Spirit of Boise festival. One way or another, every attempt was failed! Either we would wake up to the alarm to go and hit snooze one too many times, or the balloons would weather cancel. This year, I planned to meet my friend Megan and her little guy so I knew I wouldn’t have an excuse to just curl back up in bed and go back to sleep. And the weather seemed decent, so I didn’t forsee any problems with that. And guess what? I finally got to see the hot air balloons after so many years. They didn’t actually take off (due to wind) but we got to watch them inflate which was so cool!
