It has felt like Spring for quite a while now, but I have been extremely slow to take down the winter decorations. Just a week ago I finally put the pinecones away for the season! So since the trees have really started to bloom in the last few days, I decided our mantel needed some Spring color as well. This afternoon was rainy and windy which made it the perfect painting day! I pulled out the acrylics and watercolors and created some pieces to add lots of color. Now I am thinking I went a little overboard with color- what do you think? At least the deer head tones it all down a bit, right?
