A few weekends ago while I was in Texas visiting family, we signed up for the Spass Walking Tour of the town. The tour is led by my old high school counselor, so it was fun to see her again! And it was also amazing how much I learned about the town I grew up in- there was a lot I was clueless about! Playing tourist in your hometown or the current town you live in is always fun. The tour explained four different murals around town and also explained a lot of the old churches and buildings. We had a few breaks scheduled in too- one at the farmer’s market where AJ got to make a pizza, and a stop at 2Tarts- one of my favorite bakeries downtown New Braunfels! I loved the walking tour and can’t wait for a trip down with Chase so he can get in on the fun, too!
